Yate Westgate Centre back view

The Yate West Gate Centre opened February 2010 and is a joint venture between NHS South Gloucestershire and South Gloucestershire Council. This is a unique facility providing access to a range of health, children's, young people and family services under one roof. Services are scheduled to open between February and March 2010. The Children and Young People's hub within the centre includes the Children and Young People Information Service providing the general public with information, signposting, advice, support and access to a range of services. There will be Sure Start Children's Centre offering stay and play sessions, youth clinics, maternity services and access to health visitors. Children's Social Services and Connexions staff will also be based at the hub. Health services will also include a minor injuries service, outpatient facilities, x-ray and ultrasound diagnostics, physiotherapy and audiology and West Walk GP practice. A Boots pharmacy is also available on site.
