South Gloucestershire's "Council for Voluntary Service" (CVS) is a group run by local charities and voluntary organisations that supports, promote and develops local voluntary and community action.

CVS support their members by providing them with a range of services such as business support, meeting rooms, photocopiers, ICT equipment, community accountancy and employment advice. CVS also run training programmes and workshops.
